The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as “The Centre”) recognises the importance of personal information and will take utmost care to ensure the appropriate protection of such information in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations.

(1) The Centre may use personal information collected from its website users and participants at events for sending information or invitations to other events organised or supported by The Centre, or sending publications and mail magazines, etc.
The Centre will not use such personal information gathered for a specific purpose beyond the scope of the abovementioned purposes.
 
(2) The Centre will not release such personal information collected to any third party without the consent of the users unless specifically required by law.
(3) The Centre may commission the handling of personal information to a third party in order to achieve specific objectives. In such a case, The Centre will enter into a contract to ensure the appropriate handling of personal information by such a third party.

Should there be any error or change in the personal information provided, The Centre will make appropriate corrections or deletions of such personal information at the personal request of individual users.
